Chumbes, or Inzhona in Muisca lenguage, are woven protection belts, used by the Muisca people of the Colombian Andes. The Chumbes are an integral part of their traditions and culture.

Made traditionally in a wood loom this chumbe has been crafted by Xua, a Muisca woman we have the blessing to meet and spend time with her and her family in the mountains of Colombia.

The result of this traditional work is a potent tool that can be use a protective energetic shield as well as an energy harmonizer.

Used for both men and women for ceremony, rituals and daily life. A necessary tool for healers and energy workers.

For woman, the Chumbes provide great support during their moon (period) time and during the postpartum dieta. Providing both, physical and energetic support equally.
