Chumbes, or Inzhona in the Muisca language, are ancestral woven protection belts used by the Muisca people of the Colombian Andes. They carry intention, lineage, and centuries of sacred knowledge.
This Chumbe was handwoven by a Muisca elder, a true master weaver, whose skill and knowledge embody the depth of Muisca traditions. Each piece reflects his teachings, prayers, and ancestral techniques, preserving sacred designs and energetic wisdom.
Each Chumbe contains a specific prayer embedded in the design — a symbolic pattern conveying protection, harmony, and guidance.
This particular Chumbe carries the prayer of ‘Solstice'’ design.
