SACRED SHIPIBO HUMMINGBIRD WOOD PIPE

A$250.00

This pipe has been handcrafted in the Amazonian jungle in Peru, with wild hard wood.

It is the result of many hours of intentional, dedicated and skillful work of an indigenous Shipibo crafter.

This particular piece has been designed with the intention of calling in the spirit of the humming bird. It also has a subtle marking of the Chacruna leave on each side.

For many years, we have cultivated a close relationship with a Shipibo family in Peru, both in the jungle of Peru, by receiving their plant healing and also by supporting them by sharing their craft, pipes and clothes, out to the western culture.

For the Shipibo, the pipe is a powerful and revered ceremonial tool. It is used in ceremony, in combination with the master plant of sacred Tobacco for healing, cleansing, protection as well as for prayer..

We can warranty, from our own experience using and selling these pipes, that when they are kept and used with care, they will last for many years.

The wood is strong. The markings will eventually fade away as the pipe changes its color naturally from tobacco use.

The carrier bag has been crafted by Caté, another member of the Shipibo family. It features an embroidered sacred Shipibo design (Icaro).

A one of a kind Shipibo sacred wood pipe.
